The former head chef of Michelin Restaurant Paustian- and a busy tv personality à la Britain's Gordon Ramsey (less swearing) BO BECH is the man behind restaurant GEIST (zest) at the King's Square - a prime location next to the French embassy and across from the Royal Theatre.
A highly innovative top quality menu at brasserie prices - it simply has got to be the perfect recipe for success.

A Taste of Denmark

AAMANNS/COPENHAGEN opens this month in Tribeca of New York City.

Adam Aamann opens his first international restaurant AAMANNS/COPENHAGEN this month, the only 'purebred' Danish restaurant in the big apple.

photo Aamanns blog

photo Aamanns blogJust like 'Aamanns takeaway and Etablissement' in Copenhagen, the Tribeca restaurant will focus on organic and seasonal ingredients. An authentic Danish experience with sublime Danish ’smørrebrød’ (open face sandwiches), exclusive Danish food products, cultural events with Danish artists and distinct Danish design.
AAMANNS/COPENHAGEN is located on 13, Laight Street.

Alex Sushi

The Norwegian sushi restaurant Alex Sushi is beautifully decorated with a large open bar with sushi chefs preparing your food.

CHEF ALEX brings traditional Japanese sushi from his training in Tokyo to Copenhagen for a fusion with the Scandinavian cuisine. The menu consists mainly of sushi, a large selection of sashimi as well as various side dishes like yakitori and salads.

In addition to this, the restaurant offers four different menus and the big Ichiban menu to be ordered in advance.

The room is furnished in Scandinavian style, including a large wall installation of 405 small floral paintings by Norwegian artist Tor-Arne Moen.

BRDR.PRICE
The Brothers Price - Adam and James - are the happy owners of an exciting, newly opened restaurant in the center of Copenhagen.
Both starring in an extremely popular Danish TV cooking show 'Spice med Price' meaning (Eating with Price) and both part of the Danish entertainment business as writers, directors and composers.

Their parents, a great duo within Danish theatre- and movie making, Birgitte and John Price, brought them up in a home with a deep passion for cooking, obvious to anyone watching the two having fun in the kitchen.

With this restaurant they have managed to create a homely, relaxed atmosphere with a menu consisting of delicious Danish/French dishes at affordable bistro prices. Definitely worth a visit when in need of a break from the trendy Nordic cuisine.

FOUR NEW EATERIES

Copenhagen prides itself with a lot of Michelin star worthy chefs and restaurants, perhaps too many for a small city like ours.

The Michelin stars are of course prestigious and great to achieve, however, a star doesn't necessarily pay the bills. We now see a tendency among these talented star-chefs to break away from the renowned Nordic Michelin mold - to create great menus for everyone to enjoy.

We recommend-
